  Summary

  After a disastrous accident that temporarily killed Amy, she finds herself saved by her now former enemies, Metal Sonic, Sage, and Dr. Eggman. However, Eggman had to transform her into a biomechanical organism to bring her back. In simpler terms: she's become a robot disguised as an organic person.

  In the aftermath of the incident and her revival, Amy is left to ponder her now shattered worldview. Eggman, the tyrannical genius supervillain, just saved her life and gained nothing from it. Why would he not somehow take advantage of the situation? He... is actually evil, right? Why would Metal Sonic save her? Shouldn't he hate her? Shouldn't he have let her die? What would her friends think of this if she explained it to them?! Would they believe her? Would they... even think it's still her?

  But more than anything else, Amy realizes something about herself she'd buried so long ago... she likes the idea of being a machine, she's wanted it her whole life. And now... she has the opportunity of her dreams just within reach...
