“This doesn’t feel like a very good idea,” Steve says, eyeing the ladder that Robin is trying (and failing) to grab. He’ll do it for her in a minute, obviously, but he would be lying to say he wasn’t getting a little bit of karmic satisfaction watching Robin’s clumsy attempts at jumping.
“Do we ever actually have any of those?” Nancy asks, leaning against the brick and watching the two of them with a smile that’s equal parts warmth and exasperation. A quintessential Nancy face if there ever was one.
“You do, sometimes,” Robin says. “But us —”
“Definitely not,” Steve says.

Summary
Steve bites his lip. Eddie leans closer toward him, shoulders touching. His voice drops somehow lower, lips brushing Steve’s ear. “But, I’m still gonna make you ask.”
Eddie pulls back, chuckling slightly as Steve lets out the tinniest whimper.
Steve looks over at him when he realizes Eddie isn’t going to say anything else.
“Will you,” Steve swallows, his throat dry, “teach me?”
“Teach you what, sweetheart?”
Steve inhales, sharp.
“Will you teach me how to submit?” He lets out a shaky breath, “Please.”
Eddie’s gaze softens. He reaches a hand up to run through Steve’s hair once, then leans back in close.
“Only ‘cause you asked so nicely.”
