It's been a month since the end of a string of android serial murders and Detective Gavin Reed and his partner Nines are slowly moving forward with their lives. Nines' begins to spend the night at Gavin's at least twice a week - although he wishes it was more.
During these times Gavin finds himself in his own personal "Zen Garden" where he meets a version of himself - Zen!Gavin - that was erased from Nines' Zen Garden because of Ada's corruption.
