Summary

Sitting up on her knees behind him, Varang reached out a hand and traced her fingers along his skin — mirroring where scars once would have been — with her golden eyes remaining locked on the screen, as though memorizing where they would have been. Tattoos had been replaced on his Na'vi skin, but the scars... well, he didn't exactly feel like going toe to toe with another viperwolf just to make a point.
As though reading his mind, Varang leaned closer to his ear, "I could give them back to you."
Damned if her voice wasn't like ambered honey, sweet as sugar despite the grim topic of scarification.
