Summary
When war ends there is lots of celebrating. Parties are thrown, heroes are announced, and plans to build a better world are set in motion. No one wants to look at the mourning faces or think too hard on the horror of catastrophic loss. Instead, they join the propulsion to move forward and endeavor onward. But that's the thing about wartime injuries, they don't heal quite the same as other wounds.
Hermione, Harry, and Ron try to rebuild their lives but occasionally stumble when their pasts refuse to cease their hauntings. Sometimes the pain is hardly bearable, but they have each other and that bond endures even under the hardest of circumstances.

Summary
There are nights when the nightmares just will not lay quiet. Sirius is woken by Hermione's restlessness and finds a way to soothe the troubles that still haunt her. In return, Hermione finds a way to bring back some joy into Sirius' life after a particularly difficult and emotional day. They each take turns holding the other's hand as they navigate their personal storms.
This is mostly fluff.

Hermione has been tortured by Bellatrix and Ron is there to comfort her in the aftermath while they recover at Shell Cottage. They don't know what tomorrow looks like and from what they can tell it is likely grim, but they have this small window to just be.
