Summary
Edelgard von Hresvelg was searching for answers shrouded in dark when her path crossed with a mysterious Child of the Goddess. In the ruins of Garreg Mach Monastery, amidst a devastation echoed by all of Fódlan, she was granted one chance to uncover the truth.
One chance to shed light upon the shadows who bore Fódlan in its iron grip.
One chance to piece together a history long erased.
…And one chance to change a fate already determined by both.
The Archbishop’s prized knight was the key. Of that she was certain.
What she did not know was why two hidden entities of Fódlan were interested in as seemingly a nondescript and undeniably odd woman as Byleth Eisner.
But there were whispers amongst the staff of the great cathedral. They spoke of being in Byleth’s presence and seeing the Goddess.
Ridiculous. Absurd. Nothing more than lunatic ravings of the radically religious, she would say.
…She considered them all the same.
