Summary
Billy doesn't die in Starcourt. Instead he wakes up a month later in hospital with his little sister holding his hand and a future he thought he'd lost in front of him.
Rated teen and up because it's mostly fine for everyone but there are a few chapters including smut as well as occasional violence between Neil and Billy.

It wormed deep within him, made Billy hate himself more than he already does, made him want to beg for that Wheeler girl to come wrap her arms around him, made him hate these woods and the demodogs that might be in them.
