Summary
Alastor's heart yearns for a future his doe may never allow. As their fawn grows, so too was their bond supposed to grow, yet Angel seems farther away from him than ever. Still, Alastor can imagine a life for them so clearly. If the little one can reach out a hand, can't Angel too?
A small one shot based on Syntaxeme's Doe Angel story "Impulse & Consequence", set some time after chapter 6 (but this fic isn't really spoilery, so you can look at this first if you'd like :) ).
