"Are you sure that Aster likes him?", one of Tooth's sisters piped up, echoing Jack's own flabbergasted thoughts as he scrambled to the window, ducking under the windowsill.
"Oh, I heard it from North!", Tooth exclaimed, her voice clearly carrying through the window. "He asked me to tell Jack, but I told him and Sandy to never tell him."
"Why?", another sister asked.
Jack was two seconds from climbing through the window and demanding the same thing.
