Fyodor has been dead for a year now; just as Sigma's ADA member and Soukoku is married, albeit in secret.
But, of course, Dazai Osamu is still haunted by his own words: “Anything that I would never want to lose is always lost.” And, no matter how much he desires them to be, his predictions are never ever wrong. Once everyone but him starts losing their memories, little by little, it is proven.
However, if he is able to find the ability user responsible before everyone forgets and loses themselves, before Oda's words turn into a meaningless pile of ash, it should all be okay. It always is, right?

“I want Chuuya to send me into subspace,” he blurts out, the words falling out of his mouth hesitantly and regrettingly and he presses his forehead harder against Chuuya as though he hopes to break the barrier of Chuuya’s skin and nestle somewhere in his ribcage, never having to face him again. And, hell, Chuuya isn’t even sure if he heard him correctly.
What is subspace, anyways? Is that some metaphor for Chuuya to kill him?
“I’ll need more than that, Dazai.”
Dazai groans, “Stupid slug.”
A chuckle bubbles in Chuuya’s throat. He still isn’t really used to seeing Dazai, the master of words and manipulation, like this, all exposed and tripping over his own tongue. It’s cute, reminds him of a sulking black cat so much that Chuuya can’t even insult him back.
Oh, God, this bastard has him wrapped around his little finger, doesn’t he?
“It’s a BDSM thing, Chuuya.”
Oh. Oh.

“Mackerel, if I end up with some abomination of a scar, I swear—“
“Eh,” Dazai shrugs, “you’d still look sexy as hell.”
“Dazai,” Chuuya shouts, a giddy laugh seeping through, “shut the fuck up!”
“No can do, sluggy dearest~”
Chuuya clicks his tongue, apparently deciding the only appropriate way to really shut Dazai up is to kiss him senseless. Doing everything Dazai is weak for. Biting his lower lip. Slowly slipping his tongue in. Throwing his arms around Dazai’s neck. Breaking away only for a moment, only to say, “Happy birthday.”
“How many times are you going to say it,” Dazai whines, not at all trying to hide how desperate for Chuuya he is.
“Until you believe it.”

“Marry me.” Dazai himself flinches at his own words, punching all the air out of his lungs and, no matter how hard he tries, he cannot control the rapid beating of his heart.
Chuuya’s mouth falls agape as he only stares at him wide-eyed. Poor Sigma is on the floor again, holding onto his wound.
“What?” Chuuya stutters out.
Oh, God, what has he done? Dazai would really like to die now; thanks and goodbye.

Dazai really needs to think before he speaks.
