“Yes, it’s Shane. Shane who—” Katie makes a vague hand gesture at him. “—and you who—” she continues, with another vague hand gesture. Ryan frowns.
“But it’s Shane.” Ryan looks at Steven.
“Hey, don’t look at me,” he says. “I got shot down because I’m ‘too tall’.” Steven mimes the air quotes.

Summary
The year is 1993 and Ryan Bergara runs a semi-popular underground radio show for "6H0ST Air" under the pseudonym 'The Revenant'. Each week, he regales his listeners with unsolved crime stories and supernatural disturbances, asking them for their own theories and stories that they can post on his forum.
Soon, another poster starts populating his forum - a person by the name of $K3PT1C who enjoys poking holes in everyone's theories.
The show will be forever changed when the two decide to team up to discuss and research, using a more... hands-on approach.

Summary
When Shane strides out from the history shelves, he turns towards the back table and hopes to see the usual piles of books and forgotten pages.
What he gets instead is all those books and notes and some guy picking carefully through that fucking Sasquatch book and scribbling something down on one of the sheets Shane has probably put away and—
Shane momentarily loses his mind. Instead of taking the common sense route and hauling ass back to the help desk to get Sara or to hide, his stupid, long legs walk him up to the table and his stupid, smart aleck mouth makes him blurt out into the otherwise quiet library:
“If you think that the ghost of Richard Ramirez haunts the Cecil Hotel, you’re out of your goddamn mind.”
Or, Shane works at his university's library and, through a series of unfortunate events, meets Ryan Bergara, who believes in ghosts, not using a productive organization system for his notes, and that Amelia Earhart was abducted by aliens. Maybe most unfortunately, all of these things make Shane fall for him faster than Ryan can say: "The Whaley House is haunted."

Summary
If you’d have asked Shane five years ago what his five-year plan was, he’d have had a very different answer to the one he's living now. Today, Shane starts his first summer as a fire lookout in California. He's miles and miles away from civilization, and the closest person to his lookout tower is a strange man who keeps asking him questions about Bigfoot.
But, like The Rolling Stones say, "You can't always get what you want", but Shane sure hopes he'll get what he needs.
