Caitlyn cut her off, a finger lightly pressing against her lips. "No, Vi. I need you to listen to me." Her voice was soft, a whisper that wove its way through Vi's thoughts grabbing hold of her.
“Do you trust me?”
Of course she did, never once in the handful of years they’ve spent together did she not trust Caitlyn.
"Yes, of course, I trust you." She nodded, her pulse pounding in her ears, nearly drowning out everything.
Caitlyn's smile widened a little at that. "Thank you. But I need more than just your trust for me, Vi." She pressed closer, their bodies brushing against each other lightly, and she could feel Vi’s warmth burning into her skin. "I need you to trust yourself as well."
