It's late at night, and your headlights aren't working properly when you hit and kill a man that you don't recognise. It had been entirely your fault. You were driving recklessly, more focused on your own anger than the road. If you were a better person, maybe you'd turn yourself in, so you could be held accountable and the man's family be given some closure. But you're not a better person. You've decided the world has taken far too much from you.
For some inane reason, Billy Hargrove - Hawkins' resident heartthrob, and more importantly, the man that beat the shit out of one of your best friends - helps you cover it up.
Slowly, you start to want him to consume you before the guilt does.

Summary
Four youths find themselves in New York from across the globe to chase their various dreams. Ten from Thailand and Baekhyun from South Korea pursue design at Parsons School of Design in hopes to one day start their own independent brands, while Lucas from Hong Kong and Kai from South Korea study Engineering at Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) in an attempt to make their parents proud while seeking freedom.
In a flurry of working hard for their goals and adapting to the craziness that is New York City, these four find themselves drawn to each other in the midst of seeking an escape, from stress, their families, and loneliness. Over time they find a home in each other in an unfamiliar environment.
