It was a dumb dare for Izuku to text his high school crush that he "needed" them. Now after more that two years of not talking while Izuku worked as a hero in America, Kaachan was standing at his door.
“I’m sorry, Kaachan.” Izuku started. “I just don’t know why you actually…”
Kaachan scoffed, cutting him off.
“I can count the number of times on one fucking hand that you’ve asked me for help. So when you said you needed me… Yeah. I thought it was fucking important.” Kacchan looked over Izuku’s shoulder again towards the giggling. “Clearly it wasn’t.”
Okay. Maybe Izuku deserved that.

Izuku steps towards the other teen, holding his hand out to shake, “I’m Midoriya Izuku by the way. We haven’t officially met yet, right? I don’t remember seeing you at the Entrance Exam?”
The blue-haired boy pauses, studies his hand uncertainly before shrugging. “Shirakumo Oboro,” he introduces in return, hand phasing right through Izuku’s when he goes to return the handshake. Shirakumo doesn’t seem surprised by it, but Izuku whips his hand back when the intense chill climbs up his arm.

Izuku tries to pretend eveything is okay even though his homelife is crumbling around him, there's an insanely powerful Quirk that's not entirely his coursing through his veins, he suddenly knows his childhood hero, All Might, and to top it all off, he seems to have befriend a pastel blue-haired ghost that has way too much insider knowledge on Izuku's new homeroom teacher, and English teacher. He's really just trying to survive Yuuei...

Summary
Virgil has been living with his mom’s best friend in Reston ever since his mom died and his dad left. Aunt Patty has always treated him like she would her own son, and Virgil hardly remembers his parents anyways, so he likes living with her.
Except in the summers, when her actual blood-related nephew, Roman, comes to visit her. Roman is that golden boy stereotype that exists in every universe: flawless looks, charming personality, not to mention that he’s a Hero, so he can do magic and has Dragon wings he can actually fly with. Even Dragonchildren can’t turn into actual Dragons until they’re at least a hundred years old.
Virgil is human. The useless sidekick. The lame little sibling character that the hero is annoyed with until they have to save their life. Just there to be tormented for Roman’s amusement and kidnapped for his adventures. Virgil is so boring it’s almost rare.
Until he’s not.
