There was barely any pause before Vi opened her mouth. She could hear part of her brain screaming 'no, stop, bad idea, shut the fuck up dipshit' but she ignored it like she always had.
"You don't have to. You know- hire a stranger."
Caitlyn looked at her quizzically. Am I really about to say this?
"I can be your blood bag, if you want."

Not the curse it once was- by the 21st century, vampirism had mutated into an inconvenient infection.
Due to their hunger being volatile and, if unsated, potentially fatal for the infected, vampires usually hired a professional "blood bag" to be by their side 24/7 during the months- sometimes years- it took for the illness to pass.
So when Caitlyn catches it, Vi doesn't hesitate to take up the role. Anything to help her best friend until she recovers.

Summary

Alas, the lords of the realm are determined to see her as an ornament rather than the dragon she is, and it doesn’t change much. Until, nine years later, in the wake of Aegon’s nameday hunt, Rhaenyra loses patience with being underestimated and dismissed. When her father tells her to find herself a husband, as if that of all things will solve her problems, she instead flies to the Stepstones to make her name in battle. Summary
Hi! : ) Watching the series I doubt their relationship would jump straight to something spicy or “dom”. Caitlyn is always so damn tense around Vi, and Vi—who’s tough with everyone else—turns into a soft and vulnerable ball when Caitlyn is around. The only time we see her being bold with Caitlyn is in the brothel episode, and back then they had just met, so it was Vi being flirty, without any deeper feelings yet. After that she gives her the princess treatment. And I think they like each other so much that they’re careful about what they do and say all the time, because they’re afraid of messing things up. For them, what the other thinks is the most important thing, and that’s why I believe their relationship would probably evolve in a more vulnerable and slow-paced way than people might expect.
So I hope my fic doesn’t feel too out of character. Either way, I love these characters, and I hope you enjoy it! It starts from the end of the second season.Bookmarked by TeepeeOsas
