Anyone is welcome to write a remix or fanfic that's inspired by one of my works but stands on its own, without asking permission.
That said, I’d love to be notified of any work inspired by mine, simply so I can appreciate it!
If you want to write a fanfic based on my work that doesn't stand on its own, such as a spin-off, sequel, missing scene, completion of an abandoned fic, etc., please ask me about it beforehand. (Unless the description of the fic states otherwise.)
If you post your work on tumblr, livejournal, twitter, etc., please link to my original fic and tag/credit me (@sushisocks on tumblr).
If you post your work on AO3, please use the "This work is a remix, a translation, a podfic, or was inspired by another work." option to link your work to mine.
