Summary
Eddie has a surprising amount of muscle definition going on in the forearm region. Jamie has witnessed, on four separate occasions, someone do a double take at Eddie’s forearm. Karen from HR still bears the nickname ‘Mugbreaker’ after Eddie turned the corner near her office, coming face to face with her just as he rubbed a hand through the hair at the nape of his neck, exposing the wiry flex of muscle between wrist and elbow, and Karen famously dropped a cup of coffee all over the floor. Ergo, either Eddie goes to the gym, or he’s on steroids.
Eddie is the kind of man who keeps a makeshift itemised medicine cabinet in his third desk drawer, with a padlock on the handle, the key for which he keeps in the inside pocket of his suit jacket, and who administers a library style check-out system of medication whenever anyone asks for a Paracetamol.
Eddie is probably not on steroids.
Eddie's coworker finally convinces him to bring his elusive spouse to an office party. It goes about as well as you might expect, which is to say spectacularly.

Stellar humor, had me actually cackle-laughing out loud several times. The Richie-shaped hole in the first chapter somehow made Jamie's mind even more fun to read about Eddie through, and the reward of Reddie in chapter 2 made it so much better, because theyre written stellarly. So good banter, humor, fantastic dynamics, and I loved all the details peppered in here and there about Reddie & friends outside of Eddie's work life. Also, Jamie and Nishat were such fun characters to read about, I really liked how they parallel Reddie, and got along! Def glad I decided to read this

Summary
There’s something wrong with Will.
It started three weeks ago, almost four. Will had woken from some sort of nightmare and, instead of seeking comfort in Mike the way he usually would, he’d rolled out a sleeping bag from the closet and chosen to sleep on the floor.
No one believes Mike, except for Joyce. But even she doesn’t understand the full extent to which something is wrong with Will.
Mike understands, though. Mike has been paying attention.

Spiderman’s fingers press a little firmly into Mike’s shirt. "Just – hang on!"
"What do you mean just hang – was that a pun," Mike sputters, clutching onto Spiderman for dear life as they swing through the city, and he can hear the superhero laugh through the racing wind in his ears, the rumble of it under Mike’s arm wrapped around his middle.
In a city of superheroes, Mike keeps running into Spiderman, much to his dismay.
On a completely different and unrelated note, Mike also attempts to woo and charm his neighbor into a date. -

Summary
When Will needs to get his thoughts out of his head, he writes a letter he never intends to send. He addresses it to Mike, and tells him everything.
Feeling lighter than he has in weeks and buoyed by the adrenaline of writing it all out, Will acts on an impulse and ends the letter with, "If you’d be willing to give me a chance, I’d be really happy to date you. If you’re open to trying it, please meet me in Castle Byers this Saturday at 2:00pm. I’m not asking for any promises, I’m not asking for forever or anything like that; all I’m asking is that you give me a chance. Come if you want; if not, I completely understand, no hard feelings, and I’ll never, ever mention this again."
He forgets all about the letter, and the distinctive red envelope he stowed it in, until he turns around to find it missing. Now, Will has to think of some way to stop Mike from reading that letter - or should he wait at Castle Byers on Saturday at 2:00pm and pray for a miracle?

Will needs a date to his mom's wedding. Mike volunteers.
“I have an idea,” says Mike.
Ice cubes form in Will’s stomach. “How dangerous is it? Like, should I call Dustin to talk you down, or should I call Nancy to be ready to drive us to the hospital?”
“No,” says Mike, “you can’t tell anyone or it won’t work.”
“Or what won’t work?” Will asks. It’s like picking up a rock you know a spider will be under.
Mike gets up and closes Will’s door. Hopper doesn’t make them keep it open but sometimes Will does anyway, because every now and then lying around alone with Mike on his bed just makes his chest ache too much. If the door is open he can tell himself You can’t do anything right now, someone will see.
Mike leans back against the door. His eyes are lit up with that special maniacal gleam that the Wheelers get right before they do something insane, like when Nancy says, “Then we have to go kill Vecna ourselves,” or whatever. “Take me to the wedding,” says Mike.
“Yeah,” says Will slowly, “you’ll be at the wedding. Obviously.”

Tessa Crowley back at it again! I love a good rewrite and Im already looking forward to to seeing the reaping of the seeds being planted two chapters in; who is the Ashbringer? What's up with Draco's starburst scar on his chest, and might it have something to do with the colors he sees in his dreams? I usually think of Expelliarmus when blue is mentioned, but Im sure thats a mystery that wont be cleared up quite yet! What has happened for Tom Riddle to be headmaster, and where is Albus? And what is the contract spoken of in chapter one? Additionally, where will Harry, the golden trio, and Draco's slytherin friends play into this story and how are they different from canon? Accidental bond that connects their magic & gives them a sense of each other's feelings, as well as access to the other's memories. No mind reading, but lots of sex! Draco throws a fit about safety and Harry has to pursue him for a bit once their bond is untangled; funny and very sweet, light on the angst but the bond allows them to understand one another at a deeper level. I enjoyed the characterization and the roles played by the rest of the golden & green trios; love when friends actually feel like friends of the MCs!! Pansy stays delightful, and I enjoyed Ron being gobsmacked but supportive! -

Delightful story that I struggled to put down. The characterization and development of Draco was so well done that even in his most frustrating moments I still found myself with a well of empathy for him. I enjoyed the more mature streaks taken with the source material, the ways in which Draco's own grey morality impacted certain storybeats, while still looking to philosophy for direction or reassurance. I highly enjoyed the friendship between the golden trio and the green trio, and the friendship between Draco, Pansy, and Blaise meant the world to me throughout this fic. I am a Pansy girlie fr, she was so well handled here, and I'm always grateful when Hermione has a girly girl as a close friend in fics. It heals smth in me.
Lucius cuts a terrifying figure until he doesn't; overshadowed by Voldie himself ofc. Loved the addition of Summer, the squib childhood best friend.The fic where Draco goes into an emotionally catatonic state post-crucio & attempted legilimency by Voldie, bullet-point style. The Lucius hand-in-eye fic. The one where they get together in 5th year and shit still goes sideways.

The one where Sectumsempra created a bond between Harry & Draco that almost kills them deceral times over. Bond is delayed and unstable; Harry runs too hot and Draco cant breathe. Deep angst at times, but ends happy. Fun and sweet read.
