    Canon compliant through season 3, with one very important caveat. While Alex and Michael became much closer during season 3 events, neither was brave enough to try to make it romantic yet. So they start this story as good friends. Alex hopes it can become more.

    This story starts 3 months after the end of season 3. One note from season 4 is included, the explanation of Greg Manes being missing is him having gone to grad school back east.
