    Taylor is a young boy who doesn't know how he feels about Pokemon. Sure, all his classmates think their new starters are cool, and his teacher is putting on the pressure for him to catch one, but aren't they only good for fighting? The thought of battling Pokemon makes Taylor's stomach churn, until one day he chances on a Trubbish in need of his help. Does Taylor have what it takes to be a trainer? Will he convince his parents and teachers that Trubbish is just as good a starter as any other Pokemon? And what good is a Trubbish, anyway?
