Summary
Dancing along with the music, Lumine elegantly climbed up the pole again, more slowly this time, allowing the predatory eyes to graze her figure. Her eyes moved to the pile of mora on the ground as she briefly thought about the best way to collect it.
And then, just when her tired eyes looked up from the paper-littered floor, she was met by the piercing gaze of a shadowed figure. He was leaning back against the wall with his hands shoved hidden into the pockets of his expensive silk suit. The moving lights sometimes caught his deep and penetrating ocean gaze and a glimpse of hair that reminded her of wild flames, making a few of the stray pieces look almost scarlet under the fluorescent lights.
Her breath caught in her throat, and all she could see was him and his intense gaze peering right into her eyes.
