The shift was going terribly wrong.
Any hope that you originally had for the day had died out fully after the first call. Your will to live and exist was also starting to die out. There must have been something in the air, that was the only plausible reason why everything could be going so bad- honestly, you would have blamed it on the fact that it was a full moon if not for the fact that the full moon had happened the week prior.
“Hey kiddo, don’t let this get you down- this sort of thing just happens sometimes…”
The already sour expression on your face worsened.

Summary
Project D-24 is an endless cycle of torment and trauma. Surely nothing else could prolong the suffering? Unfortunately, however, a certain Proctor seems to have taken quite a liking to the tenant Cassie and has decided to make it his mission to dish out some more... creative... punishments.

Cassie shivered, suddenly feeling way too cold. Maybe it was the blood loss- A glass clinked and Cassie flinched.“There there-“ Proctor 2’s voice chided in mocking comfort.
She wanted to crawl away- to tuck away in any corner of the room and close her eyes to escape this. That wouldn’t happen, though. Their session was far from being over.
She had begged and screamed with everything today, she had fought hard, and like always, she had been offered an “Alternative punishment.” She didn’t even think before taking it. Anything would be better than this- oh, how poor Cassie should have thought about it a little more.
