Crowley took over running the bookshop with Muriel and turned a portion of the upstairs into his greenhouse for his plants. He's trying to get over it all, but that's impossible isn't it? “Mike?” Will gasps between kisses, Mike just casually kisses down Will’s jaw and neck as he talks, like what’s happening at the moment is totally normal.
“You know Will, I did a lot of thinking while you were away.” Mike whispers against Will’s neck.
“What about?” Will struggles, he feels like he can’t breathe while being kissed by Mike. On the neck especially.
Mike just continues attacking Will’s neck as he speaks, “I thought about what I wanted, who I wanted. After a while, I realized something.”
“And what was that?” Will breathes, it’s the loudest he can be at the moment.
“I don’t want El, I want you. In fact I need you, Will. I’ll always need you. And I’d rather spend the potential end of the world with you.“

Maybe One is right; maybe Will hates him, wants him dead. Maybe Will lied that night, months ago, when he promised Mike that he would never join One willingly, no matter what the bastard was telling him in the seemingly endless nightmares that plagued him. When he tried to make Mike promise that he would do whatever it took to end this, no matter what happened to Will in the process.
Mike wouldn’t make that promise. He just promised Will, in his own head, that if it came down to it, neither one of them would die without knowing the truth. And Mike can’t breathe right now, let alone form the words out loud, so instead, he begins to tap on Will’s hand. Familiar dots and dashes, determined to keep his promise.
I, he taps, unable to hear anything over the roaring in his ears.
Love, he taps, watching One move Will's mouth through blurred vision.
You, he taps, and something in those brown eyes flickers, just for a moment.

Summary
Today did not go how Mike expected. He anticipated just another Friday boys' night without Will - boring and long, where he spent most of the time in his own head, wishing Will was there with him. Instead, he'd come out to two of his best friends. And revealed his massive, huge, scarily intense crush on Will, which, apparently, wasn't news to them at all. What a night.
Despite himself, he wished Will could have been there. He wished he could talk to Will about these things. He wanted to tell his best friend about his crush. But he couldn't. Because his best friend and his crush just so happened to be the same person.
