Oz was a fascinating place, apart from the fact people could live forever- unless directly killed, they hardly got sick. At worst there you’d get a sick stomach if you ate something that was just a bit too old or not made quite right. But unless you were messing with magic, you couldn't get sick.
But that only applies to the people who were born and raised there, and were descendants of those who came from Oz, to be more specific; Fairy folk didn't get sick.
Everyday humans, like Trot, Bettsy Bobbin, Cap’ Bill, or Doroty, they’re liable to any typical illness they’d catch if they were back in their old human countries.
So when Dorothy gets sick, she shouldn't have been surprised when her friends were worried. -

Summary
Dorothy awakens in Langwidre’s tower to see her old friends coming to rescue her, and some new people she’s never seen before. One of which she learns is the Mysterious Ozma TikTok had told her about, who comes to rescues the far girl in person. Dorothy did not expect that, nor did she expect the princess to kneel before her, and right now she wishes she was in a more ‘well kept’ state.
