Summary
The day was rainy, and Elliott found himself inside. His lover out of reach, gone all day. He's forced to sit with himself, with his own thoughts, with everything he's ever been forced to think.
While alone with himself, he reflects on his life, his marriage and the life he's living. Elliott finds himself angry. Sad. Like he's been treated like a second rate decoration that no one wants to look at. And in this sadness he finds anger, and a deep longing to be an equal to his partner, rather than just another decoration in their large, empty, farmhouse.
