Summary
A little anger grew in his chest as he remembered what he left in that lab. A partner, a broken promise. The feeling growled in his throat. He had been hasty to leave that day and yet now he felt a sort of regret, a longing to feel the delicate touch of his partner's hand on his shoulder. Yet Jayce had not sought Viktor. It had been long enough that Viktor thought his partner might find him, convince him to come back. Viktor thought he might even fold to feel the comfort of those days past again. But Jayce’s silence angered him. They had been partners for seven years and Jayce had let him go that easily.

We're going to pretend that Salo & stuff never happened and that Jayce went straight to Viktor! There will be at least 2 chapters, maybe more :) Also I decided to keep Viktor's sex ambiguous cause in canon he technically has nothing, you can read it either way cause theres always a hole ;) that was nasty sorry 💀
