In the cold dead of night, Martyn is awoken by horrible nightmares. A storm rages in dogwarts and in the center of his mind. He sees Grian wrapped in a purple cloak, and when he wakes— he can’t sleep any longer.
He sits on the ledge of dogwarts walls and watches snow fall, until his king comes to take him back home.
