  Summary

"Everything that draws breath is bound to a law, Yaksha. Your law is your Archon savior. MY law is hunger. You will never cease waging war. I will never cease to devour."

The young Adeptus' eyes were chips of burnished gold but their luster did not conceal his loathing. "Do not delude yourself into thinking we are equivalents; you mingle with mortals carelessly, diminishing all divine perceptions of you." He bared his teeth in blatant mockery. "How 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜."
