Summary
Freddie had spent a lot of time recently thinking about dreams, or maybe dream was the wrong word. She knew what they were, even if she didn’t like admitting it. Memories. Calliope’s memories, to be precise. The ghost of a woman she’d only ever met in death, the one whose soul brought her back to life. And she was grateful for her life—this second chance, for everything it had given her—no matter how bad the nights got, no matter how much it hurt, she was glad to be alive.

A month has come and gone since the Chorus reformed and the Goddess of Wisdom vanished into the night.
Grace and Freddie, the two remaining members of Edge of Elysium, have been on the road ever since, trying to put as much distance between themselves and everything they endured in the days following Calliope's death.
