The prologue: Jaime and Arya meet at the beginning of (A) Game of Thrones, when she is still a child. Summary

Jaime, still in possession of both his hands, escapes the Starks and rejoins Lord Tywin, who has been amusing himself at Harrenhal for the past four years.
