« Why—Why are you always like that, why are you always doing this Amelia ? Pushing me away ? » Monica ask her tears on her face, still recovering.
« I—I don’t want to hurt you— I don’t want to hurt anyone…Please try to understand what i’m saying here, it’s hard enough already. » Amelia was sitting in the empty chair near the bed, clutching into Monica hands, crying, she didn’t want to do that, she wanted her—be with her…
« Amelia…Darling… » She cupped her cheek with her able hand, the other one still fragile. Trying to get to tears out of her face. Amelia was dumbfounded at that, but didn’t let it show. She was about to speak when the heart monitor started beeping. She was panicked. Standing up now.
« Monica ! Beltran ! Monica what’s happening—Please answer ! » Monica wasn’t responsive. She tried to take her by the shoulders, to wake her up, she called for help : « Help ! Somebody plead help me ! » Clutching to Monica’s hospital gown.
