"Hey." A voice cut through Jon's train of thought. "Do you have a problem?”
The goth was standing right in front of him. And Jon's eyes were fixated on the goth. He quickly averted his gaze, embarrassed. He had probably been staring at him the whole time.
"No, not at all, I'm sorry. Your…" Jon pointed at his outfit. "Whole thing, is nice. Reminds me of when I was, er, young."
Jon tapped a corner of the box of files he was carrying to the archive while the goth stared at him in silence. He was blocking his path, and Jon was too embarrassed to ask him to move after having made him uncomfortable. It didn't help that he wouldn't keep his eyes off of him. His gaze gave him goosebumps. It was too piercing, almost didn't feel human. Then, his brow unfurrowed and the ominous feeling faded. His voice came back gentler but still solid. Even grounding.
“You work in research, right? I’ll need your help this afternoon. At two, in the corner nearest to the Institute’s front door.”

For all his delicate appearance, Venti has always been incredibly strong.
Diluc has known this from the start. Before the traveler entered their lives, before the battles, before he saw him standing in front of a dragon, ready to give everything in exchange for the freedom of another. And Diluc had thought, now that is how a god should behave.
That is someone I could believe in.

Diluc is patrolling one night as the Dark Knight when he hears groaning from an alleyway behind the tavern. It's not unusual for lovers to go prancing into the night after a few drinks to do whatever they please, but they sounded like they were in pain, and the Dark Knight's work is never done until all is quiet.
Now he's got a bum of a bard living in his winery and he keeps getting into trouble.
