It must be difficult to be among them without the same gifts…” Beau bristles a bit at that, and Avantika continues, “I know it was for me before I met my…benefactor.” Beau relaxes slightly. “And I know I found talent in other places to make up for it.” Avantika holds eye contact, waiting one second, two, three… Beau’s cheeks color slightly as she seems to take in Avantika’s meaning.
Beau licks her lips, seemingly steeling herself. Her chin lifts as she says “I have a lot of talents you haven’t gotten to see yet. Care for a demonstration?”
Avantika pretends to consider, looking Beau up and down again much more lasciviously. Her eyes snap back to Beau’s and she commands, “Take off your clothes. Kneel at my feet.”

Summary
Joshua will Leon zum Geburtstag etwas backen, aber da er ein miserabler Bäcker ist, hat er sich Hilfe dazugeholt - Leon.
Vielleicht hätte die Aktion sogar klappen können, wenn Joshua nicht konstant von Leon abgelenkt gewesen wäre, während er sich davon zu überzeugen versuchte, dass er ganz sicher nicht auf den Bayern-Spieler stand, mit dem er gerade in der Küche stand.
So aber kommt es, wie es kommen muss und ein Chaos bricht aus, das zwar Joshuas Küche ruiniert, aber die beiden Männer näher zueinander führt.Bei diesem Twoshot handelt es sich um ein Prequel zu "Sunset - Sonnenuntergang", er kann aber auch einzeln gelesen werden.

It’s David who catches his attention the most. Only three years older than him and already far more established. His laugh, his eyes, his smile, the way he claps Joshua on the back, and the veins on his biceps whenever he raises his arms. It's not only on Joshua though; David certainly treats him in a way that allows him to keep deluding himself.
