Even though every strange thing was explained as a myth, Aerith and crew would soon find out that there was a slice of truth behind those legends. Not that there wasn't enough strange things happening to their lives, with all the attempted kidnappings and finals coming around the corner. Their college life isn't exactly normal. Not having Rufus Shinra in their midst.
"There's this strange myth in Wutai, about ningyos." Yuffie has a sparkle in her eyes "They are half-human and half-fish..."
"You're talking about mermaids. It's said that anyone who hears a mermaid sing will be cursed to die at the sea." Reno shares a beer with the wutaian "I get the appeal. A beautiful woman singing just for me..."
"That's not how the ningyos look like! They have twiglike fingers and their faces resembles a fish." Yuffie pushes Reno and he almost drops his beer.
"Hey, watch it!"
"And that's beyond the point! A ningyo flesh could turn a person immortal! What do you say to that?" she opens a big smile, as if she got a point "And their tears become pearls!"
Rufus turned away from the group. He couldn't stay there. He took the pearl from his pocket and watched it closely. -

Pelo menos ele conhecerá alguém importante durante o jogo e aprenderá que muitas vezes, se você superar o seu medo inicial, coisas incríveis podem acontecer na sua vida.
