   Summary

   she wakes up one morning to the sounds of screaming. (at first she thinks its another nightmare, but her eyes are closed and she can feel the rough bark of the tree she's leaned up against, and the tips of her fingers are cold and she hears what sound like horse hooves, but there weren't any horses in the mountain, so what--)
