Summary
Killing in Lumiere was tricky, to say the least. People reacted poorly to finding a corpse. Even if, after they faded, the city soon forgot their presence. As long as he didn’t kill anyone that Maelle had known, that small group of people she actually cared about and the people nearest them, Maelle wouldn’t notice. So many of the city's inhabitants would go unnoticed.
AU Of Verso turning to mass murder in the wake of being forced to exist, and Gustave wanting to chase the bliss of non-existence himself after having been unwillingly made immortal.

Summary
They’re stuck in the manor for over a week when it happens.
It didn’t matter that any other time they’d entered the manor, the front door had always been unlocked, ready to safely transport them back to whichever entrance they’d found littered on the continent. The first time Gustave had entered one of the manor doors, he hadn’t feared a trap. His search for Maelle simply too important to care, even if it had been one. He certainly felt a bit trapped now, however.
After spending hours the first day and night trying to open the front door before giving up, it had been decided to at least use the manor if they were to be confined in its walls.

Summary
Vince sleeps over at Victor's apartment, which is not such a rare occurrence anymore. However, Victor finds himself surprised how little it seems to annoy him. (Rest assured, he still finds plenty to bitch about.) Vince, on the other hand, makes his own sweet discoveries—perhaps Victor gives him a run for his money when it comes to being a greedy lover.
