Summary
In the spring of the year 75 AC, the wedding of Prince Baelon Targaryen to his sister, Princess Alyssa, was celebrated throughout the Seven Kingdoms. It was a union of love, as both husband and wife couldn't stop smiling.
For almost ten years, the young couple lived happily together and welcomed two strong sons to House Targaryen: Viserys and Daemon.
However, according to Archmaester Gyldayn, in the year 83 AC, the daring Princess Alyssa announced that she was with child again, much to the happiness of her husband and family.
After a complicated pregnancy and a difficult, long labor, she gave birth to a pair of small, delicate twins, whom she named Aegon and Rhaenyra Targaryen.

“A princess alone in the dark?” he whispers into her ear, making her shiver. “Are you asking for trouble, sweet niece?”
“Are you the trouble you speak of, uncle?” Rhaenyra asks, still not turning to look at him. “Or perhaps you will protect me from the dangers lurking in the dark.”
He chuckles huskily. “I am no gallant knight, princess. I thought you would know that by now.”
“Should I scream then? Cry for help?”
He leans even closer, his warm breath brushing against her bare shoulder. “That depends. Do you want to be rescued, princess?”
She spins around and tilts her head to meet her uncle’s gaze. “Perhaps not tonight,” she murmurs, staring deep into his eyes.
One corner of Daemon’s lips tugs upwards in a crooked smile. “I thought so,” he says.
