Summary
Kim Dokja hadn’t always been able to read minds. When he was younger, his thoughts were usually silent, leaving him feeling undeniably lonely. Left to his own thoughts, nothing to do except stare at the ceiling of his room, he prayed that one day he might make a friend. So, when the voices started to appear in his mind, he experienced a sense of relief - he wasn’t stuck in his own solidarity anymore. However, sitting across from his mother, with metal bars separating them, Kim Dokja realized that those voices weren’t figments of his imagination.
After all, his imagination would never be so cruel as to imagine his own mother calling him crazy. That day, he vowed that he would never tell another soul about his ability.
