Summary
Ethari was a weaponsmith, not experienced in the ways of combining magic and metal. Sure, he could make little trinkets, he often did, but they served no purpose. The heartblooms however, they took a while until they were functional, and he was always perfecting them, every single day.
He had had to learn magic beyond his realm of knowledge, had to learn how to enchant, to weave the moon’s power throughout his creations. And it took a lot of effort. He was never as strong as the others in the first place.

When your husband is the leader of the assassins, it's only right that Ethari would worry. Any goodbye may be the last. Any kiss, any lingering looks. Sooner or later, Runaan won't return, so Ethari does everything he can to ensure he knows if the love of his life is okay.

Klee realized Kaeya was distressed about the mission. Klee blew up Good Hunter's stove on purpose to get them grounded and cancel their trip. Klee knows better than to blow stuff up inside the city walls – she was there with the man who wrote her Rules of Survival.
And that day, of all days, she just decided to throw the rules out the window?

“Master Diluc.” He greets casually. “I’m afraid there’s no tab left, I didn’t order anything tonight. Why else would you have followed me, after all?”
“Kaeya.” Diluc stalks towards him. “Surely I misunderstood those men. Surely, you didn’t say you’re a single parent.”
“Your ears are perfectly functional.” Kaeya informs him. His heart is beating so heavily, he can feel it thump against his chest. “It isn’t any of your concern, I’m afraid.”
Kaeya finds out he’s pregnant shortly after Diluc leaves.
