Summary
By the time he makes it home, an hour later, it is approaching midnight. For once, the roles as he slips into bed are reversed—Caroline sleeping, him creeping like a burglar under the sheets—and he almost feels guilty until he gets a whiff of the scent on the sheets, something like mushrooms and ozone, and he remembers watching her meander off towards the fortune-teller’s tent during the fair.
If he’s some sort of sinner, then she is too, broke the inviolable contract of marriage, and Pierre has never been one for unequal bargains.

Summary
The rain falls cold, like tiny icicles piercing through the skin of Shirabu’s arms. “Where are you, little shit…” He hisses softly, hope dimming with each beat of his racing heart. The chill of the wind bites at him, leaving his entire body tingling.
He had been in bed, cosy and warm and dry. Now his trembling fingers fumble with his phone as he runs through the wet street, nothing but shorts and a t-shirt for protection against the onslaught of rain.
"Just come for me.” Was all the bastard said, like he was obliged to, like Yahaba knew he would.

Summary
Sakusa wondered if admiration at first sight was a thing; the people around him poeticized love at first sight, but he thought it was impossible to love someone that was essentially a stranger. Komori endlessly teased him about their first meeting with Iizuna; he often said that he was the one that had noticed Iizuna while Sakusa was the one that had fallen for him. He scolded his cousin for putting it in such a way; he simply shadowed Iizuna because he was the most respectable person on campus. And, maybe it was his fault for realizing too late that their time had run out, or that he was foolish for believing that he could be tethered to someone for so long, or that he explored ways to stay close enough to their senior so that they could see each other frequently. Two perfect years culminated on a single day, when he was only able to admit that things weren’t going to be the same without Iizuna.
---
Over the years, amidst an ocean of thoughts, Sakusa found a few to share.

Summary
Osamu knew that when you’re young, you don’t quite know what you’re doing and you are bound to make mistakes. He knew that, and he knew that he wasn’t above it. There was some choices he wished he didn’t make, like maybe sometimes he was a little too harsh on Atsumu about something insignificant, but the one thing he wasn’t expecting to be a mistake was Suna Rintaro.
