Summary
Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik noticed that the world was basically split in half, and they were ignoring each other. Mobians had evolved from a meteor strike 395 years ago, Humanity had had more than enough time to warm up to them and cause changes to benefit the both of them and so, Robotnik decided to take the choice from their hands and make them work together, by taking over the world. He is fine being the villain in this story if it helps people in the end, but he refuses to be evil.

Kris was done. They weren't going to tolerate the interdimensional invader in their ribcage any longer. And if they had to open a fountain to get rid of it, they were going to.
Or at least, they were. Until that invader offered something new: the chance to remember between resets. To make their own decisions with nothing more than some minor advice and a helping hand if requested. Naturally, Kris was interested. And that's why they woke up on Thursday morning, remembering two days that technically hadn't happened yet.
Messing with the code can be delicate work. Do the wrong thing at the wrong time, and the bridge might just break. Or change fundamentally.
It's a good thing nothing like that could happen, right?
