Summary
Plumpaw is an eager apprentice of PlateauClan. The overly-chatty apprentice makes fast friends with Hawkpaw, the slacker apprentice with an affection for Starlingfeather, the most promising young warrior in the desert territories. Plumpaw's talent for battle is quickly revealed, and she soon develops a reputation in the Clan fit to rival Starlingfeather. But when an accident leaves her without a voice or confidence to boast, Plumpaw must decide what--and who--is really important in her life. A disaster is soon to approach PlateauClan: one which Plumpaw herself must help resolve--if she has the strength.
