   “Do you have any um, ideas? About who you’ll marry?” Chongyun asks. He pours a shaky cup of tea.

   Xingqiu shrugs, his mouth full of shrimp. “Probably some girl from an advantageously positioned merchant family, you know how it is. Hopefully someone with a sense of humor who reads a lot of books.” He swallows and his eyes get that mischievous glint to them that always heralds trouble for Chongyun. “Why, Yunyun? Are you thinking about marriage? Got your eye on a pretty girl?”

   OR:

   Xingqiu decides that the perfect way to get his parents off his back about marriage is to get engaged to a perfect girl with great business prospects and stop wasting everyone's time. Easy! Now he can spend all his newfound free time with Chongyun, his best friend in the whole world. This is a great solution with no downsides. :)
