As soon as his agent picks up, Macklin spills the tea while it’s still piping hot.
“Is there anything in my contract about… physical relationships with staff or, like, people in the organisation?” Macklin blurts out.
There is a very pregnant pause. “People in the organisation?” His agent repeats slowly. “What did you do, Mack?”
“Nothing,” Mack says, too quickly to sound convincing. “Just… hypothetically.”

Summary
Will is seriously starting to hate himself right now. It’s not like he meant to fail the bet, score zero goals, get no points at their latest home game, but he did, he failed. Lost to the entire team, at that, and is now paying the hefty fucking price. And it’s… it’s a price, all right.
