Summary
You, Tarnished, continue your journey through the Lands Between and find yourself in the land of rot itself. Atop the cliff, overlooking the festering Swamp of Aeonia, you find her: weak, dying, worshipped in a crumbling church for the very thing that kills her.
But she is, and becomes, so much more than that: combat ally, travelling companion, trusted friend, lover. The wilting flower blooms with all the fiery beauty of the goddess’ scarlet blossom, and so does she die.
Even demigods, as it were, could not resist the destruction of the scarlet rot. What hope could a mortal have?
