He also happens to be the one kid in school who can't stay out of trouble. he spends more of his time in in-school-suspension then actual class and its gotten to the point where he's one more slip up from getting expelled and there for eliminating any chance he would have at being valedictorian.

If he fails this next grade check he'll be benched till the next one, and the next one after that because in no world would he pass the second one. This would throw his jounoir season out the widow and could thow his collage football career right out with it.
