Luffy kept talking, something about the food. Or the people. Zoro stopped listening from this point. He hummed softly in response to every pause in Luffy's sentences. His gaze settled on him again. It was… distracting.
Luffy noticed. He was airheaded, but not stupid. He noticed how Zoro looked at him. Luffy didn’t seem bothered. His voice dropped. Not serious, just quieter. “Are you gonna’ keep zoning out?”
Zoro met his eyes. He didn’t look away this time. “…You’re distracting me, captain.”
