"So, what are the rules again?" Seulgi asked as Jaeyi flipped through her workbook. She looked up momentarily, smirked, and resumed her skimming.
"It's simple. One of us chooses a page, we solve all of the problems on that page, check our answers, and for every incorrect answer we remove a piece of clothing. Fun, right?"
Seulgi swallowed down a lump that had formed in her throat. She had hoped that Jaeyi had been joking when she first pitched the idea to her earlier that day.
She cleared her throat. "Yeah, okay."

“Of course.” There's that hand caressing her face again. Seulgi allows herself to lean in this time, to relish in the delighted grin blooming across Jaeyi’s beautiful face. “The way you look at me, Woo Seulgi, makes me want to spoil you rotten. Want you to look at me and know you’ll be taken care of. Want you to come to me so I can provide for you. I just, I just want you.”

She hadn't felt wanted in so long. Haven't dared hope she’ll ever feel that way ever again. But here Yoo Jaeyi is, promising her the world, even if half of it is burning at her own hands.
“We still need to talk,” Seulgi says breathlessly, already leaning in again. Jaeyi’s eyes flutter, nudging their noses together. “But right now, Yoo Jaeyi, I want you to kiss me until I remember you’re mine.”

Summary
Eddie only had enough time to briefly consider how little pain breathing gave him (being dead and all and not having a lung half-mangled by demobats) before he realised no breath was even coming out. He was going through the motions but there was nothing to support it. He didn’t have time to focus on that as his eyes adjusted and he realised where he was. Back in normal Hawkins he assumed based on the light in the air, even if something felt off about it. He could tell it wasn’t the Upside Down at least. It was a house, one he’d been to, if not for a few years at least. But one that was still instantly recognisable.
Eddie Munson dies in the Upside Down. Then he wakes up.
