Summary
Sirius Black survives his brush with death at the Ministry of magic and is declared innocent after Pettigrew is captured. Reflecting on his near death he reflects on all his failures up to that point including the promise he had given to James and Lily before they had died. Resolving himself he swears to uphold his promise to them and opts to become the Godfather Harry deserves.
