Summary
Husk may not be an overlord anymore, but he still has a few cards up his sleeve. After a month of attempts to rescue Angel, he might be left with no choice but to draw the card that could blow up in his face.
He's gambled it all away once before and look how that turned out. He has a shitty green chain shackled around his neck to show for it. His only option is to stand by and watch it all play out, unless he wants a repeat of past mistakes.
He's useless, as always.
So, why can't he stop thinking about it?
OR
A story about the fragile edge of Husk’s humanity when he begins to care.

Summary
It’s been a month since Husk had all but begged Angel to stay—to stay at the hotel and work at redemption, reliably annoying shit out of Husk from that middle barstool that had unofficially become Angel’s.
He finds himself in a familiar drag bar once a week like clockwork, trying to forget the fact that Angel chose differently. Drinking has always been his vice, and if this is the same bar that he saw Angel perform at that one time, well, that’s just simply a coincidence. He’s here to forget, not to chase ghosts.

Summary
He keeps himself an inch from Katsuki’s body as he rises to meet the other at eye-level. “Do you want to know a wonderful thing about this ‘quirk’ – as you’ve labeled it?” Izuku’s smile is back. “Even though it’s not really a quirk,” he tacks on.
Katsuki huffs, his body trembling. Could never help but be completely accurate, can you Deku? “Get on with it,” he says instead.
“I can,” Deku walks his fingers up Katsuki’s left leg, “feel everything.”
Katsuki swallows, represses the urge to close his eyes, keeps them fixed on Deku. He won’t lose.

aka Katsuki is a hero. Izuku is a quirkless villain who gets hit with an empath-inducing quirk. They meet once again.
It doesn't go as planned.

Summary
“The Human Library is a place where you can borrow a person instead of a book for fifteen minutes and hear their life story. We aim to decrease prejudice and facilitate a deeper understand and connection between people. People come here with titles like bipolar, homeless, refugee, and more. After hearing their story, you realise how much more there is to them than their label.” The man handed a pamphlet to Izuku and he took it with shaking hands. “So, what label would you like to use for today, sir?”
Izuku felt the heat from his face begin to heat up his whole body. He opened his mouth and incessant rambling escaped it. At the sight of the man’s deadpanned face, Izuku immediately stopped, took a deep breath in, and said, “quirkless.”
