Summary
Had an odd thought for a story.
This'll be a pseudo-walkthrough of one interpretation of the story of New Vegas (and light[?] romance, with a focus on companionship), with a few questions to stir the pot, and make it all possible:
What if being a Courier was more of a side-gig, and what if she uncovered more of what happened in The Big MT facility?
What if, much like the Enclave, the Brains there had experimented with intelligence augmentation, for their war beasts?
What happens when the World that beastie was 'raised' in, and had come to love, has been gone for Centuries?
What happens, then, when they collide? Cute shit, maybe. Eventually. Some day, definitely, nestled firmly in between all that typical canon tragedy.
The goal is an adventure-romance fic, so gosh dang it I'm gonna have adventure and romance in it.
[?] It might not be so 'light' after a while, dunno. Depends on how weird I wanna get, will update as things progress.
